When we went to NZ the last time, I woke up the second night we were there at 3:00 am and the light above the bed was swinging and everything was shaking side to side. So weird! Glad this wasn't a bad one but I remember feeling the building sway, we were on the third floor. Buildings in NZ are built to sway on purpose they have so many earthquakes. I layed there and couldn't remember whether to get in a doorway, a bathtub or just pull the covers up over my head.
